There are three side window options:  Original VW glass windows These are not a straight forward fit to a panel van and have a history of leaking problems, though the flush closed fit of the opening window is a nice feature.
These start at £275 inc VAT for fixed glass and £635 inc VAT for opening windows fitted on a VW T4 and £250 inc VAT for fixed glass and £620 inc VAT for opening windows on a VW T5.
 After market glass windows
These are designed to fit panel vans and are manufactured to a very high standard (some of the glass is made by the same manufacturer as VW glass!).
They start at £300 inc VAT for fixed privacy glass and £425 inc VAT for opening privacy glass.
 SEITZ double glazed windows These are the plastic caravan type windows. They are very practical being double glazed which greatly reduces the inside condensation and have integral fly screens and black out blinds.
These only come as an opening window, but have the option of sliding open or being top hinged (this enables you to open the window even if it's raining). They are £525 inc VAT fitted for both VW T4 & T5
