| 240v Electric Charge Systems |
|
All of our full conversions are supplied with a 12v leisure battery, which is charged by the vehicle engine by way of a split charge system. All conversions are also supplied with a 240v hook which goes to a twin RCD tripped 3 pin socket. The Waimea conversion is also supplied with a 240v to 12v charge system, which charges the leisure battery whilst the vehicle is stationary and hooked up to a 240v supply.
With the introduction of modern 12v compressor fridges which are incredibly economic to run, the addition of a 240v to 12v charge system will only benefit a few people. If you are putting a high draw on there leisure battery or if the vehicle is stationary whilst being used for leisure use for more than a couple of days then this could be of benefit and can be added.
