These are our own springs developed by us, and so we are the Before lowering We were really disappointed when we spent a lot of money on Sportline lowering springs for our T5 show vehicle last year. These did lower the van if you measured it, but didn't give it the lowered look we wanted which is why we developed these springs. Our images of before and after lowering are photographed with 18" wheels. These have the same circumference as standard 16" or 17" wheels and tyres. I have put this as other peoples images showing vans lowered with 20" or 22" wheels will not achieve you the same lowered look if using your standard 16", 17" or 18" wheels and tyres! This is a straight spring replacement kit and does not give you the compromise you get with cut or re-tempered springs which do not give you accurate lowering and can also give you a bouncy poor ride.
After lowering Due the progressiveness of the spring, driving on good roads or motorway driving still gives you a comfortable ride similar to that of a standard spring. The spring comes in to its own when cornering hard or hitting a pot hole as the tighter coiled springs will not allow too much compression on the spring which would otherwise result in body roll or bottoming out. You need mechanical knowledge to take the front suspension apart and re-track the vehicle if fitting the springs yourself, but the kit is sold with fully illustrated fitting instructions.
Some Customers Vans Please be aware that lowering your van will change the load carrying capacity of the vehicle
